To our dear Pat I’m so glad all those years ago our paths crossed. You joined us and were the first person I ever employed and what a great decision that was! From the moment we met we hit it off, arguing, shouting, slamming doors, walk outs to name a few things that happened most weeks!! Your strong personality and keen eye soon worked me out and had me wrapped around your little finger. You and Max former such a strong bond and before I knew it you were best mates. I was so pleased each day to listen to the gossip and the stories from the pair of you and must admit some days we had a right laugh. Pat you were so reliable in ever way and when I needed you to dig deep at work you did and when I needed you as a friend to lean on you were there. Over the years we helped each other with life’s ups and downs and I will never ever forget that. I look upon you as my work mum and your firm but kind nature kept me humble and honest. If I said we got in all the time that would certainly not be honest but every up and down we had the door to the office become more battered and our colourful language could be heard across the factory! Importantly our laughter could also be heard across the factory and that will be sorely missed. You and your family will always be in my thoughts and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart allowing me to be your friend. Cameron also sends all his love and said he misses seeing you. To Pat, Words can’t describe what you meant to me, I will never understand why the good ones always go too soon. You were so brave, there were many tears but you were strong and I miss you - every day I relied on you, you made the best cup of tea and would always keep me in the loop of all the dramas that were going on at work! You never missed a trick and we loved that about you! I could come straight to you & max for a good old moan, which was always needed 😊 you were our work mum and kept everything and everyone in line - thank you xxx
